Nigerian comedian Deeone has sparked heated debate online after boldly claiming that popular financial advisor Geh Geh “stole the destiny” of fellow entertainer Peller. His controversial remarks have since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.
According to Deeone, Geh Geh’s rise to fame came directly after being introduced by Peller, but rather than supporting his colleague, he allegedly overshadowed him by attracting Peller’s loyal audience. Deeone explained that many of Peller’s supporters shifted allegiance, preferring Geh Geh’s so-called “university of wisdom and understanding” style. He described the incident as a “transfer of shine” which left Peller struggling to reclaim his influence in the entertainment space.
The comedian did not stop there. He warned that Geh Geh may have jeopardized his newfound success by releasing a track where he mentioned controversial personality Saida Boj. Deeone suggested that this move could negatively affect his career, claiming it was a “big mistake” that might soon start reflecting in Geh Geh’s trajectory.
“I saw the way he stole Peller’s destiny. He stole his shine, took his star. What I am saying now, you’ll see it start playing out soon. Because the moment Peller introduced Geh Geh to his fan base, Peller fan come dey say, ‘Omo, I rather dey with this university of wisdom and understanding.’ But Geh Geh made one mistake and that is singing about Saida Boj t’to,” Deeone said.
Deeone addresses beef with Davido
Deeone also took time to clarify his stance on Nigerian superstar Davido. Contrary to assumptions, the comedian said he holds no grudge against the singer, admitting that he actually enjoys Davido’s music. Deeone further praised the artiste’s humility, particularly his ability to listen and adapt to corrections.
“Davido listens to correction. Everything that I have corrected David about, you can see that he has adjusted. He don reduce to de chase clout dey prove himself to people. Na because of Deeone,” he added, stressing that his criticisms come from a place of sincerity rather than hate.
