Dynamic entertainment entrepreneur Dayo Adeneye [/b]has revealed the reason behind his rift with Kenny Ogungbe, co-founder of Kennis Music.
Adeneye recounted the turbulent moments when he and Keke fell out during a lively and animated talk show interview with comedian Teju Babyface.
He recalled seeking advice from his father during the disagreement. His father’s advice was surprisingly simple yet profound: “If their disagreement was about something as trivial as money or a woman, they should find a way to reconcile. Nothing should come between them.”
Dayo Adeneye clarified that he and Keke Ogungbe never argued over money. According to Adeneye, he and his friend had a falling out over a woman.
Dayo Adeneye and Ogungbe’s relationship has endured numerous challenges since they established Kennis Music in 2000, a label that launched several Nigerian music superstars to fame, including 2face, Eedris AbdulKareem, Tony Tetuila, Sound Sultan, Jaywon, among others.
