Nigerian musician and global superstar Davido is continuing to make big moves as he announces a new series about his life that will be streaming on global platform Netflix.
As the leader of the 30 Billion Gang (30BG) and a prominent figure in the afrobeat scene, Davido has been making waves in the music industry for the past few years. He has successfully captured the world's attention by breaking into the Billboard charts, headlining major global festivals, collaborating with big brands like PUMA, and achieving a major global hit with Arab star AISHA on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 official song "Hayya Hayya (Better Together).
Currently on tour to promote his latest album 'Timeless', Davido has revealed that his Netflix docu-series titled "David" will be released in December 2023.
In an interview with Dubai-based media house, Esquire Middle East, Davido stated:
“I have a movie coming out in December with Netflix. It’s very, very big. This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary–a docu-series about my life, called ‘David’. I shouldn't be talking about this, but yeah.”
