Captured in multiple videos that gained traction on social media, Davido showcased his musical prowess at the event, accompanied by his vigilant bodyguard.

Expressing the sequence of events leading to Davido's surprise appearance, the elated woman, whose sister was the recipient of the impromptu performance, shared on her social media page: "My sister’s wedding! He came straight from the airport to surprise her and her husband! Thank you @davido for honoring us last night!! May God continue to bless you always!!"

She went on to provide details about how she approached Davido with the idea: "When I told @davido my sister was getting married and asked if he would surprise her and her husband, he said consider it done and asked for the date."

"He mentioned he’d be in Dubai but committed to flying in straight from the airport, and indeed he did!"
