Fast-rising Afrobeats singer, Ruger [/b], recently spoke candidly about the pivotal role played by his senior colleague, Davido Adeleke [/b], in bolstering his burgeoning career even before it reached household recognition.
In a recent interview with Beat FM, Ruger provided valuable insights into how Davido had been a driving force behind his career progression. The conversation stemmed from a mention of The Big Five, a group that the record label boss had discussed in a prior interview, with Ruger being one of its members.
This discussion arose in response to a question about The Big Five once mentioned by the record label boss in an interview, which included Ruger.
He revealed that he crossed paths with Davido in 2020, before his rapid ascent to fame in 2021. Ruger added that the A-list artist has been providing substantial support for him for an extended period, including efforts to raise awareness about his music.
In his words, “Davido is someone that has been supporting me right from the begining of my career even before I came out in 2021. He met me in 2020; heard some of my songs and liked it. He has been creating awareness for my song even before I released my first song. Burna Boy has also supported in his way in O2 2021.”
