Popular singer, Davido, has finally addressed the heavy backlash he received over a controversial music video posted by one of his signees, Logos Olori. The music video titled 'Jaye lo' stirred controversy as it was deemed insensitive and disrespectful by Muslims.
In the video, Logos Olori is seen on a building, singing and making prayer gestures while other Muslims were below, religiously carrying out their Salah. This depiction offended many people, leading to widespread criticism on social media.
Davido took to Twitter to break his silence on the matter. In one of his posts, he used the lyrics of one of his songs to express his desire not to engage in a fight. He wrote, "I wan make u show me, make we no dey fight."
In another tweet, he seemed to hint at the release of a new song, stating, "Una know say 'Feel' never start Abi? IN FACT 'Unavailable' never start! No choice logos!! Them go feel am!! MEN MOUNT."
Despite his response, the controversy surrounding the music video continues to spark discussions and debates on social media platforms.
