Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson Akande has taken legal action against the Gistlover blog in response to unfounded accusations suggesting she is involved with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
It has come to light that the actress was named among several colleagues by Gistlover as purportedly being a side chic to Akpabio.[/p>
In response to these allegations, Dakore has vehemently denied the claims, asserting that she has never met Godswill Akpabio and is devotedly married with two children. She has expressed her intention to pursue legal action against Gistlover for these defamatory statements.
Dakore has made her stance clear by sharing a cease and desist letter on her Instagram page. The letter demands that Gistlover immediately remove Dakore’s photos and retract all defamatory remarks made against her.
The letter further warns that failure to comply within the next 24 hours will lead to legal action against Gistlover, potentially including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs associated with the defamation.
