Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, the wife of Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has recently shared her wish to have a third child with her husband, specifically expressing a desire for a son.
It is worth noting that the celebrity couple already has two daughters, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi.
In a recent interview on the Mum’s Next Door podcast, Cynthia revealed that she is hoping for another child and is specifically praying for a male addition to their family.
When questioned during the interview if her husband Ebuka shares this desire, Cynthia clarified that the decision to have another child is her own. She mentioned that Ebuka originally preferred having just one child due to the high costs associated with raising a child, including school fees. However, she noted that despite this, Ebuka has become deeply attached to their two daughters and would likely be equally fond of a third child if it were to happen.
During the interview, Cynthia was asked about her interest in having another child. She responded with, “Yes, I definitely want one more child. I have 2 girls now, so my prayers will be to have a boy.”
When asked whether Ebuka shares in this decision, she replied, “It is my decision. Not Ebuka’s decision.” She further explained, “My husband actually wanted just one child because he wants to be able to give the child the best. He said school fees and everything is so expensive, so one is fine. But now, he is obsessed with our children, and I’m sure if we have the third, he will equally be obsessed.”
