Mavin Records artist, Charles Chibuezechukwu, widely known by his stage name Crayon, has openly shared a significant aspect of his journey, highlighting the crucial role played by his fellow labelmate, Rema. Crayon revealed that before his rise to fame, it was Rema who generously provided him a place to stay for an impressive span of two years. Speaking in a recent interview conducted by MTV Base Africa, the talented singer behind hits like ‘Ijo Labalaba’ expressed deep gratitude to Rema for his unwavering support and mentorship.

“Shoutout to Rema, mehn. That’s my brother for life. Rema was a big support, as well. You know what’s crazy? I stayed in his house for two years,” Crayon shared, shedding light on the extent of their camaraderie and collaboration.

Crayon's trajectory in the music industry soared to prominence in May 2019, a milestone attributed to his signing with Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint under the renowned Mavin Records label. The synergy between Rema and Crayon has been palpable, as evidenced by their joint musical efforts and shared creative endeavors.

Both Rema and Crayon continue to flourish as integral talents within the Mavin Records family, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene with their collective contributions and collaborations.
