Talented singer, Chike, has gifted N1M to a troll who mocked him for gaining fame through the late musician, Mohbad.
It would be recalled that the Afropop singer had collaborated with the late rapper on the song ‘Egwu‘ before his passing.
Following the release of the song, it quickly became a hit, topping charts across various streaming platforms. Despite this success, some netizens took to the X page to accuse Chike of achieving fame solely through his association with the late Mohbad.
In response to a video Chike posted on the micro-blogging platform, featuring his new song, one netizen, @hate_ofx, commented: “mohbad made you.”
@Officialchike replied: “Your mother made you ❤️”
@hate_ofx retorted: “true but mohbad made you dawg”
@Officialchike responded: “Your mother made you, but I hope you find someone to MAKE you coz I don’t see you doing it yourself. Jesus stays king ❤️.”
@hate_ofx further stated: “you wey dey share streams with young duu, if no be for mohbad where you for see 40 million streams”
@Officialchike remarked: “Now I doubt your mother even made you right. If she didn’t teach you manners, she should have taught you research. I for send you like 1M now, make hunger comot your eye make you see road but your account fit collapse. Let the good guy rest in peace.”
In reaction to Chike’s response, the troll posted his account details, and Chike sent him N1M, advising him to use it to alleviate his hunger, which he believes is the cause of the troll's negative attitude.
