Chef Deo embarked on her record attempt on June 30, 2023, in the town of Ile-Oluji, Ondo State. Since then, she has been tirelessly working in the kitchen, racing against time to achieve her ambitious goal. A recent video posted on Twitter by Punch Newspapers showcases Chef Deo's unwavering dedication as she continues to cook fervently and strive to meet her target.
The current world record for the longest cooking marathon is held by Hilda Baci, who achieved an impressive feat by cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes during her cookathon in May. Chef Deo aims to surpass this record and set a new benchmark in the culinary world.
Once Chef Deo completes her cooking marathon, her submitted evidence will undergo thorough examination by Guinness World Records officials. If her documentation is verified and deemed worthy by the esteemed organization, she will emerge as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
