American rapper, Cardi B, has publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for the upcoming U.S. elections.
Cardi B made headlines after proposing Kamala Harris as the ideal candidate following President Joe Biden’s debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump.
She further expressed her support for Harris by celebrating Biden’s resignation and endorsing Harris on her social media, which led to a significant reaction from netizens who criticized her stance.
It is noteworthy that President Joe Biden resigned as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate on Sunday and officially endorsed his vice president, Kamala Harris, as the party’s nominee.

Reacting to the news on her X handle, Cardi B wrote: “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playing with me!”
In an interview with Rolling Stone in May, Cardi B had previously stated that she would abstain from voting in the November election if the major candidates remained incumbent President Joe Biden of the Democratic Party and his predecessor, Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
She explained that while she once viewed Trump as a significant threat, her disappointment with Biden’s presidency stemmed from what she perceives as mismanagement on both domestic and foreign fronts.
