Popular influencer, Caramel Plugg, has found herself embroiled in a controversial situation with an online vendor. The vendor had previously called her out for allegedly failing to give proper credit in a viral video after receiving free clothes from the vendor.
According to Gistreel, the social media influencer had been gifted free clothes by the vendor, with the expectation that she would tag the vendor in her posts. However, Caramel Plugg reportedly credited another brand instead of the vendor who provided her with the clothes.
In a recent development, as reported by @ManlikeIcey, the influencer took matters to another level by physically visiting the vendor's location accompanied by police. It was claimed that the police officers disguised themselves in plain clothes, pretending to be well-wishers bringing her a gift.
The situation took a distressing turn when Caramel Plugg allegedly ordered the police officers to forcibly put the vendor inside their vehicle to prevent her from making an SOS call. According to @ManlikeIcey, the influencer demanded an apology from the vendor for calling her out before instructing the police to release her.
As the drama unfolded, a Twitter user shared the incident, expressing disbelief over the influencer's actions. The post mentioned that the vendor has been in custody at Maroko Station in Lagos since the incident occurred, with Caramel Plugg reportedly insisting on an apology before her release.
