Renowned Nigerian singer, Daniel 'BNXN' Benson, recently shared his journey in a revealing account. He disclosed that he temporarily put his music career on hold when he gained admission to university, only to find renewed inspiration later on. This revelation came during an episode of Hip TV's program, "Trending," hosted by reality star Kim Oprah.
BNXN explained that he only returned to making music after he found inspiration from the songs of Burna Boy and British rapper, J Hus.
He further recounted how big of a deal it was for him to be signed by his mentor, Burna Boy on the same day he met him.
In his words;
“When I got into the university, I dropped everything that had to do with music.
“What inspired me to go back to doing music was that I started listening to Burna Boy and J Hus. I started listening to real music. And I was like, I think I can do this.”
