Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has reportedly undertaken a philanthropic initiative by renovating an orphanage home called ‘Cheshire Home’ located in Port Harcourt.
This information surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) through a post by media user @benny7gg, who shared details about the renovation project. The post mentioned that the orphanage home, 'Cheshire Home,' underwent a complete renovation, and the entire project was allegedly fully funded by Burna Boy. The implementation of the renovation was credited to The Reach NG, and the completion was marked with a commissioning ceremony. @benny7gg's caption in the tweet urged followers to offer prayers for ODG, possibly indicating someone associated with the project.
Since the initial report, various media accounts have shared and commented on the post, linking Burna Boy to the charitable act. However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation or denial of the statement from Burna Boy himself.
This news follows closely on the heels of another Nigerian artist, Davido, who recently donated 300 million naira to orphanages in Nigeria. Davido not only made the generous donation but also provided evidence and a list of the orphanages slated to receive the contributions.
