Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, faced disappointment as he failed to clinch any victories in all four of his Grammy Awards nominations, a few weeks after the announcement of his nominations across four distinct categories.
The Grammy Award winner found himself nominated for Best Global Music Album with “I Told Them…”, the inaugural Best African Music Performance for “City Boys,” Best Global Music Performance with “Alone,” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.”
Regrettably, at the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, Burna Boy faced defeat in all nominated categories, leaving the event empty-handed despite his multiple nods.
