Among the tracks on the album, one song titled "Thanks," featuring American rapper J. Cole, directly confronts suspicions about Burna Boy's involvement in the Cubana shooting.

In 2022, Burna Boy made headlines when he was accused of shooting a man supposedly because he wanted to speak with the man's wife. Burna Boy had initially chosen to remain silent, allowing rumors to spread unchecked.

However, during a January 2023 concert, he broke his silence and addressed the rumors for the first time, expressing frustration at those who seemed to oppose his success.

In his impactful collaboration with J. Cole, the song "Thanks" lays it all on the line. Burna Boy demands recognition for the pride he feels in representing his country on a global platform.

A segment of the song's lyrics goes:

“Is this the motherfucking thanks I get?

Say my mama dance for fella

Say I not get baby mama

Say I shoot person for Cubana

Because I wan collect person woman

Is this the motherfucking thanks I get?

For making my people proud

Every chance I geeeeet”
