Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ivatar, has opened up extensively about her time inside the house, alleging that several of her fellow contestants deliberately tried to overshadow her and limit her influence among the housemates and viewers.
Speaking candidly after her eviction, Ivatar shared that some housemates viewed her as a strong contender and a “threat,” which, according to her, motivated them to subtly and sometimes overtly work against her during competitions, tasks, and social interactions within the house. She emphasized that this strategy affected her game and contributed to the dynamics that ultimately led to her eviction.
Ivatar explained that she often noticed housemates downplaying her achievements, ignoring her contributions to group tasks, and attempting to sway other contestants against her. Despite these challenges, she maintained confidence in her abilities and stayed committed to playing her game with integrity, believing in her own potential to shine regardless of the efforts to dim her light.

In an interview with Classic FM, Ivatar elaborated on her experiences, stating that even though she was aware of the tactics used against her, she remained proud of her performance and the way she carried herself throughout the season. She emphasized that being considered a “threat” was in itself a testament to her resilience, talent, and influence within the house.
She said …
“People were trying to dim my light, and I saw myself as a threat. Regardless of what they say—whether it’s yes or no—you weren’t doing enough work. I will still give myself a pat on the back for that. It shows that I made an impact, and that’s something no one can take away from me.”
Ivatar’s reflections have sparked discussions among fans and viewers, many of whom applauded her honesty and acknowledged the competitive nature of BBNaija Season 10, where alliances, strategies, and social dynamics play a crucial role in determining contestants’ progress. Her statements highlight the challenges contestants face, not just from public votes but also from internal house politics and interpersonal rivalries.
