Jubilations on social media as Dr Anu Adepoju finally gets convicted by Lagos Federal High court after a failed surgery that claimed a patient’s life in 2020.
The popular BBL doctor who owns MedContour was dragged numerous times on social media over a series of botched surgeries.
In 2020, a patient, Miss Nneka Onwuzuligbo, unfortunately lost her life after getting operated on by her.
Despite numerous attempts to get her to stop her practice, she failed to give in, instead moving to Abuja to continue another branch where her operations continued.
The lawyer, @TundeIrukera, who worked with the prosecuting counsel announced the verdict while sharing that they had been working tirelessly on getting justice and putting her practice to an end.
In his words;
“Today is a day of pride for me that I personally prosecuted Anu Adepoju & her medical practice. Though I’ve left, the case has ended in a conviction strengthening the accountability framework for all in society, professionals of otherwise. This is how society should work & grow.
