Popular musician, Seun Kuti, has voiced his opinion on the behavior of Nigerian celebrities, drawing parallels between them and the subservient attitude displayed by Israel DMW in his relationship with his boss, Davido.
Seun Kuti made this statement while reacting to the ongoing drama between Israel DMW and his wife, Sheila, suggesting that Israel's extreme loyalty and devotion may be crossing boundaries in his personal life.
Seun Kuti expressed the view that the behavior exhibited by Israel DMW is not exclusive to him, stating that behind the camera, most Nigerian celebrities behave the same way when they interact with politicians. He highlighted the dichotomy between the public praise celebrities receive and their behind-the-scenes behavior.
In his words, “All the celebrities in Nigeria behave like Israel in front of politicians and billionaires, na praise una dey praise them na. Why is this different? At least David isn’t sucking your blood! Who deserves hailing? Question for the gods.”
