Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, widely recognized as Adekunle Gold, recently shared a cryptic message on social media, reaching out to his fans with a plea for financial assistance.
In a post captioned “Send dollars,” the singer conveyed his awareness of having previously stated that money doesn't necessarily bring happiness. However, in the current context, he admitted to reconsidering this perspective. In a video accompanying the post, Adekunle Gold expressed his feelings of unhappiness and sadness, asserting that the only remedy for his current state is receiving money or dollars.
He articulated his emotional state, saying, “The way I am tired and sad today, as I dey like this, na only money fit make me smile.” He continued, “And yes, I know I said money no dey bring happiness, but today, I changed my mind. So if you like me and you want me to smile, send dollars.”
