Major Keys was born in Jamaica Queens N.Y. South Africa, He was born in 1993 in Borolong. He started singing at the age of 11 years and raised in Staten Island, New York. Major Keys started his music career in his early life after moving to Staten Island, he was then introduced to music by his older brother who back then was a DJ known as “DJ G”. Major Keys started developing musical skills and interest from childhood and has Materialis into something big today.
His other musical influences came from his other older brother who began playing the violin at the time. Over the years his passion for music has grown and led Major Keys to pick up the violin.
Major Keys studied the violin and classical music from 6th grade all the way through college and while being a big fan of Hip-Hop, Major Keys discovered his abilities to incororate Hip-Hop, and other genres to form a powerful sounding combination of music not formerly used in today’s music production.
After relocating from New York to Danville, VA in he began to link up with other local artists now known as “Creflo”, “Proof”, “Natman”, and “NorthStar” AKA “Starski”. while still attending high school.

After graduating from George Washington High School, Major Keys embarked on his music career in beginning with his enrollment at Winston-Salem State University, where he majored in Mass Communications with a minor in Music Business.
