Winner of Big Brother Naija season 7, Phyna, has come forward to defend herself against the backlash she received on social media after insulting her colleague Chichi during the reunion show. In a video circulating online, Phyna expressed that she was actually begged to attend the reunion, only to be set up. She revealed her frustration, stating, "So them beg me come reunion to come set me up... Omo, I won't take this. Reunion wey I be no wan go, wey almost everybody beg me to go. This is funny. Phynation, don't defend me today... All the defending is a total waste." Phyna's remarks and behavior towards Chichi, including rubbing in the fact that she won the show while questioning Chichi's strategy of using her deceased parents and child to gain votes, have sparked controversy.
