In BBNaija season 8 All-Star Edition, one of the housemates, Ilebaye, received a double strike from Big Brother. The reason behind this action was a recent heated confrontation captured on camera involving Ilebaye and fellow housemate CeeC. The incident occurred after a Saturday night party, where Ilebaye was being consoled by another housemate. CeeC interjected, suggesting that the consolation might be a strategic move to win the show, leading to an intense exchange of words between the two contestants, almost escalating into a physical altercation.
In response to this incident, Big Brother called for a meeting and presented video footage of the confrontation. Referring to Article 15 of the house rules, which had been violated, Big Brother took action. CeeC received a warning and was informed that further consequences awaited her if she survived the upcoming eviction show.
Ilebaye, however, faced more serious consequences. Big Brother issued a double strike, accompanied by a warning that a third strike would result in her disqualification from the show. Additionally, both Ilebaye and CeeC were excluded from participating in the Big Brother Naija Head of House game and the Black Envelope game as a means to uphold discipline within the house and ensure all housemates adhered to the rules.
