Album: Purpose & Poetry EP by Tiphe

When a new voice in Afrobeats arrives with confidence and craft, the scene takes notice. Purpose & Poetry, the debut EP from Tiphe, is a compact statement: five tracks that mix intimate lyricism with modern Afro-fusion production. 

The project was released as a pre-release on streaming platforms and positioned as a major step in Tiphe’s trajectory.

Sonically, the EP rides an Afro-fusion wave: warm percussion, layered melodic guitars or synths, and a modern R&B-inflected vocal delivery. Lyrically, Tiphe leans into the project’s title: half of the EP feels like an exploration of purpose — personal goals, growth, and creative intention — while the “poetry” side is present in the carefully worded verses and moments of vulnerability.
