The controversial incident, which garnered widespread attention after a photo went viral on social media, involved the two students during their signing out session.

The viral photo showed Mohammed AbdulSalam, a male student, grabbing the chest region of Sulyman Tawakaltu, a female student, while celebrating their final exams.

Both students are reported to be part of the agricultural department at the institution.

In response to this incident, the college took swift action by addressing the matter in an internal memo, wherein it explicitly cited “the display of immoral practice by two students of the institution” as the basis for their decision to launch a disciplinary process.

The college has entrusted the responsibility of investigating and addressing this issue to the “Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC)” with the goal of setting a precedent and deterring other students from engaging in similar behavior.

Hajia Habitat Zubair, the Public Relations Officer of the college, confirmed the ongoing investigation while emphasizing that the institution had not yet made any formal pronouncements regarding the incident.

In the college PRO words;

“The school has commenced investigation into the matter but has not made any formal pronouncement on it.”
