A young Nigerian man has reached out for assistance after incurring a massive debt of N400M following a crash of a rented sports car during an illegal drag race in Lagos.
Eko Atlantic City was the scene of a severe car accident on Saturday, which took place during an unauthorized drag race.
The crash occurred around 4:00 PM and led to multiple injuries and extensive damage, raising concerns about street racing and public safety in the area.
Witnesses reported that the accident involved two high-performance vehicles engaged in an unsanctioned drag race on one of the city’s main streets. The situation quickly escalated into a disaster when one of the cars lost control, colliding with another vehicle before crashing into a concrete pole.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but the driver, identified as @Trammania on Instagram, shared his harrowing experience on social media. He recounted how his life seemed to flash before his eyes during the incident.
In his post, he described the traumatic event, saying, “Yesterday evening, 14th of September 2024, I watched my life flash right in front of my eyes. It all happened so fast. Still traumatized, I thought it was all over. I still can’t even believe I’m alive. God really loves me, and yesterday confirms all doubts…I’m grateful to still be here. I’ll never forget.”
He continued, “Head jammed, back hurts, face bruised. Couldn’t even sleep at night; too much pain. Flashbacks messing up my head already. Hospital bills going crazy. Over 400 million in damages. Corvette Stingray 2022 GONE. Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 GONE. Property damage.”
He admitted, “I won’t lie, I don’t even know where to start from. But I’m glad I’m still here. God’s got his plans for me. Still hospitalized, I’m gonna need all the love and support I could possibly get from the masses,” he stated.
