A man from Nigeria, who goes by the name Gospel, recently revealed that he received a sum of 204,000 Naira as compensation after his girlfriend cheated on him. According to Gospel's account, he and his girlfriend had a deal in which they deposited 6,000 Naira each month into a joint account as a form of protection against betrayal. In case one of them cheated, the victim would be entitled to all the funds present in the account at the time of the illicit act.

The couple had been together for two years and eight months when the woman slipped and ended up cheating on her partner, leading to the end of their relationship. As a result, Gospel was entitled to the entire amount accumulated over the course of 34 months, which was 204,000 Naira.

Gospel shared the news on Twitter, where he referred to the compensation as the "Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF)." He wrote, "I got #204,000 because my girlfriend cheated on me. When our relationship started we deposited a monthly #6000 each into a joint account during relationship and made a policy that whoever gets cheated on, will walk away with all the money. That is Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF)."
