Female Nigerian pastor, Grace Aiyedogbon has advice women to walk out of their marriage if their men are very abusive. He says although divorce is abhorred in Christianity, the Bible never asked any woman to die in her marriage owing to physical and verbal abuse.
In a live interview on Instagram, Grace Aiyedogbon backed Mercy Aigbe’s decision to walk out of her marriage as her husband was abusing her. Recall the actress divorced her husband after revealing the torture he subjected her to a few years ago.
“If any man beats you and you die, that man will go down the lane within two or 3 months and marry another wife, there is abuse you should not take, there is abuse you should seek for help… the bible did not say stay there till he kills you” she said.
