A young Nigerian lady recounts a heart-wrenching experience involving her friend, whose shocking priority during a false cancer diagnosis was expressing eagerness to snatch her boyfriend.
On the microblogging platform X, a user prompted fellow users to reflect on moments of realization about the true nature of the company they keep. The post questioned, "When did you realize your friend secretly hated you?"
Amirah, one of the users, shared a distressing incident from her school days when she received a false cancer diagnosis. Instead of offering support, one of her friends astoundingly revealed that her main concern was boldly proclaiming her intention to seize Amirah's boyfriend if she died from the supposed disease.
“In my 300 lvl I was falsely diagnosed with cancer, and when I told my friends. This babe goes 'when Amirah dies I’m taking her man' 🙃. This was before telling me that she doesn’t know what he sees in me and a bunch of other stuff,” Amirah wrote.
