Images have emerged purportedly showing Justice Kayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, participating in prayers at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque located in Abuja.
The emergence of these pictures followed reports circulating in the media that the Chief Justice had secretly met with the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is currently in London for a medical check-up.
In another photo that has been circulating on social media, Ariwoola is seen sitting in a wheelchair in what is believed to be an airport waiting area in London, while being assisted by a supposed medical staff member.
However, on Friday 24th March, during the Jumat prayers, Ariwoola was reportedly seen praying alongside other Muslim believers in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.
According to eyewitnesses, Ariwoola was observed sitting on a prayer mat without any external support or sign of requiring assistance from anyone, which appears to contradict the image of him in a wheelchair that has been circulating on social media.
