Guardiola led City to their fourth consecutive Premier League title, the first time in the history of the league that a team has achieved this remarkable feat.

This victory also marked his sixth title win in the domestic league since taking over as Manchester City’s manager in August 2016.

Guardiola has now been awarded the best manager accolade five times in the past seven years, showcasing his consistent excellence and dominance in English football.

He is now just eight awards away from equaling the incredible record of 13 set by the legendary Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

While Guardiola has done nothing but win titles at the Etihad, including a treble last season, his tenure as the club’s manager may be nearing its end.

Although the 53-year-old has confirmed he will remain with Manchester City next season, his long-term future at the club remains uncertain.

During a recent interview with Sky Sports, he hinted at the possibility of nearing the end of his tenure.

“The reality is I am closer to leaving than staying,” Guardiola stated. “We have talked with the club – my feeling is that I want to stay now.

“I will stay next season and during the season we will talk. But eight or nine years – we will see. I didn’t expect to stay eight or nine years.

“I expected three, four, or five but not much. I cannot believe it. It’s the Premier League. It’s the toughest one,” he remarked.

City, basking in their title triumph, are set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday, 25 May.
