Manchester United [/b]have renewed their pursuit of Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui following the collapse of his transfer to West Ham United.[/p>
Mazraoui was on the verge of joining West Ham in a £15 million deal, but the negotiations fell through at the last minute.[/p>
With West Ham now shifting their focus to acquiring Aaron Wan-Bissaka, United have re-engaged in talks with Bayern for Mazraoui, as confirmed by ESPN.[/p>
Manager Erik ten Hag is keen on strengthening both full-back positions, but he must first generate funds through player sales.[/p>
ESPN noted that United initially sought around £20 million for Wan-Bissaka, which deterred interest from Galatasaray. The club has since reduced their asking price to £15 million.[/p>
Wan-Bissaka, who is currently on United’s preseason tour in the United States, has one year remaining on his contract.[/p>
Meanwhile, ten Hag has concerns about the left-back position, as Tyrell Malacia has been sidelined by a knee injury for over a year and is still in the recovery phase at Carrington.[/p>
Mazraoui, 26, previously played under ten Hag at Ajax. The proposed deal with West Ham included a £12.6 million upfront payment plus £2.3 million in add-ons.
