Kingsley Ehizibue, a 27-year-old footballer born in Germany and raised in the Netherlands, has expressed his dream of representing Nigeria at a senior level with the Super Eagles. Although he has been called up before, he has never made an appearance for the national team. Ehizibue's parents are from Nigeria, and he previously represented the country at the under-age level. In an interview with Goal during the current international break, the Udinese star shared his desperation to be called up and mentioned that seeing his colleagues leave for international duty makes him want to change his situation. He wants to avoid being left behind and training with just a handful of players. Ehizibue remains hopeful that he will one day get his chance to play for the Super Eagles.
