The Naira experienced another decline in value at the official market on Monday, trading at N1,419.11 to the dollar, according to data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, which oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM). This loss amounted to N79.88, marking a significant 5.96% decrease compared to the previous trading date on Friday, April 26, when it exchanged at N1,339.23 to a dollar.
Additionally, the total daily turnover reduced to 147.83 million dollars on Monday, down from 309.01 million dollars recorded on Friday.
Meanwhile, at the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira traded between N1,451.00 and N1,060.00 against the dollar.
