With other states in the country closing down schools, places of worship and other social gatherings due to the rampant Coronavirus, there are two states who remain adamant that they won't be closing down any of these places.

Well, they are Edo state and Awka Ibom state.

Edo State

The Edo state government has said that there is no arrangement to close down schools and places of love in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. 

Gaze Governor Obaseki made this known when he got religious leaders from the state in his office on Friday March twentieth. 

He said there is no requirement for anybody in the state to freeze as his governmenet has taken proper measures to forestall the importation of the infection into the state. Akwa Ibom State

Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom states has said that there are no designs to close down schools in the state because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
