The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has disclosed that Ghana will close all it borders starting from Sunday- March 22, 2000 as part of the new measures aimed at curbing the spread of the deadly coronavirus. 

The first gentleman of the land disclosed this is in a live broadcast on state television on Saturday- March 21, 2020.

Nana Akufo Addo has also declared March 25, 2020 as a day set aside for fasting and prayers to seek the face of God to fight the disease.

The President has therefore charged all Christians and Muslims to join forces to pray on this day so we can defeat the deadly effect of the Covid-19.

Meanwhile, one of the 19 patients suffering from the coronavirus has died. A citinewsroom.com says the deceased, a 61-year-old Lebanese man, reported to a health facility in Kumasi with a fever and cough.
