"There’s No Sense In Going To School" – Simi

Nigerian songstress and Studio Brat recording artiste, Simisola Kosoko, known professionally as Simi, has sparked a debate online, after she questioned the rationale behind formal education in a new social media post.

Simi who recently welcomed her first child with hubby Adekunle Gold, quizzed the essence of going to school only to end up doing something completely different from what one was taught.

She emotionally said education is shitty and wondered why we all have to go through this stress our entire life. 

She wrote:, 

“Educational system is so shit. most of us can’t even remember most of what we were taught in all the many years we spent in school. 

People have potential and talent not tapped into because it’s not prestigious enough. They spend years learning something they don’t care about.

Forget everything right after after and end up doing something else with their lives. What’s the point then?
