It is no longer news that NYSC Batch A, 2020 camp was closed down prematurely because of the fear poses by the pandemic Virus, Covid-19.
The National Youth Service scheme is a one-year compulsory program set up with unification objectives, which commences with 21 days camping aimed at lecturing corp members and what expected from them within the next 12 months on NYSC Khaki.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull Boy. Meanwhile, the 21 days camp life entails loads of activities cheering from social down to academic activities. But all in the platoon 1 - 10 arrangement.
Despite numerous activities, Skills Acquisition & Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) stands out as the most of all people who have done have gist to tell.
It is expected the newly inducted NYSC Corp members "Otondo" will gain viable economic skills after the lectures and training in areas like ICT, Beads making, Cake baking, Cosmetology, Fashion, and more.
Unfortunately, it has been something far from that as most corp members see it as a time-waster, not because it not beneficial. But sometimes lack of comfort, seats, little ventilation and couple with little night sleep has impacted the usefulness of SAED lectures.
So for these said reasons, Corp members have no choice than to sleep helplessly even some even go as far as sleeping on the floor not minding shame or abuse from colleagues.
With the saying, "Na We We" and I no fit com kill myself.
While this a general trend with past and serving members of the scheme, Ondo State NYSC Batch A, 2020 Corp members were not left out by following the direction of quickie just to get a good nap with the mindset of "Na we we, I no fit kill myself".
However, I understand you may expect something awful as the word " Quickie" may have sounded.
Notwithstanding, I want you to share your camp experience with everyone reading this post.
Also, let us know if you would like to repeat your NYSC camp days if given a chance so you can correct some did or failed to do.
For me, My 2019 batch A Kwara State camping was just there with a stint in Delta State.
#Doz na Doz!!! I await you in the comment section below.
