Comedian Funny Bone Speaks More On Suing The Man Who Attended AMVCA7 With Coronavirus

Popular Nigerian Comedian and actor, Stanley Chibuna, popularly known as Funny Bone, is still excited after bagging the ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Movie or TV Series’ Award at the just concluded African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA7).

While on his acceptance speech at the event, the comedian broke down in tears and ended his speech abruptly.

The Anambra State born comic actor, in an interview, has recalled what got him so emotional and how he felt winning the award. In his words, he said;

“I am grateful and honored to have received the prestigious award. Shout to out my producer yaw and crew. For the fantastic story.

The award is for all of us. I broke in tears when receiving the award because I wished my mum was alive to see that day. She was my biggest fan.

She supported and prayed from day one. So, yes I got emotional but I know she is happy and proud now,” he stated.


Still on the interview, the ‘Smash’ star actor said the whole process thought deep lessons, as a major heartbreak almost ruined him while filming the movie that won him the AMVCA, He said;

" I could recall when I was filming the movie, I was down emotionally and battling heart break. Someone I trusted had failed me, but I kept pushing.

I remember Enyinna Nwigwe telling me ‘bro you have to do this o.’ I am glad I listened to him. You can see the result today. We are still work in process . The brand is also still evolving . So we keeping aim big and doing it even bigger.”


When he was asked to throw more lights about his Instagram post about suing the guy who came to AMVCA with Coronavirus, he replied;

“This is not important for now. I wish him quick recovery and good health. I hope that we all overcome this pandemic that has ravaged the world. God help us all.”
