Afropop sensation Peruzzi has shed light on his decision not to intervene in the longstanding feud between Burna Boy and Davido.
The "Gunshot" crooner explained that due to the intricate nature of their relationship as "brothers," he refrained from getting involved, asserting his perceived powerlessness in the matter.
In an episode of the Zero Conditions podcast hosted by Melody, Excel, and Motolani Alake, Peruzzi disclosed his stance, emphasizing that he never endorsed any agreement and refrained from intervening due to his seniority over both artists.
Despite the disagreement surrounding Burna Boy's song "Pull Up," Peruzzi highlighted that he maintains a positive relationship with the self-proclaimed African Giant.
Peruzzi expressed confidence that Burna Boy and Davido would eventually resolve their differences without external interference, emphasizing that it's a matter between them as brothers.
During the interview, Peruzzi revealed that Burna Boy released the song "Pull Up" without informing him, even though he had written the song and was intended to be part of it. However, he portrayed the incident as a typical occurrence in the industry at the time, stating that there are no lingering ill feelings between them.
Responding to Motolani's inquiry about whether the tension between Burna and Davido affected their relationship, Peruzzi clarified, "No, it never did. First of all, I am older than both of them, and I have never been a rubbish guy to anybody. I have never been a yes man. I will always yarn you how things... Because even when they were quarreling [chuckles]. I didn’t try to settle it because it was deeper than normal. You know they are brothers now. They will still settle, don’t worry."
"You and Odogwu (Burna Boy). Pull Up. What the fvck happened?"
