Reacting to Banky W's loss, Toke Makinwa wrote in a now-deleted tweet that she was very disappointed and sad because the singer had worked extremely hard for the seat. She also expressed her surprise that the people of Eti Osa were not familiar with Thaddeus Attah, who won the election.
