Sensational Nigerian singer, Simi, has shared her opinion that insulting someone based on their age or financial status is unwise and lacks creativity.

In an Instastory post on Tuesday, March 21, Simi stated that people who insult others because they are older or bankrupt are not smart enough to come up with creative ways to put people in their place. She went on to say that those who troll people with their age are not intelligent, as they too would eventually grow old, unless they die early.

The "Duduke" singer expressed that using age or financial status as an insult is not creative, and it is embarrassing not to be able to creatively and intelligently put someone in their place. She also mentioned that she has become a star on Instagram, referring to the influence of the platform on people's lives.

Simi's opinion comes in the wake of recent general elections in Nigeria, during which she called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for irregularities. In a tweet, the singer criticized the electoral body for not prioritizing repairing schools and hospitals instead of rigging and violence during the elections. She also called out religious leaders who failed to condemn the acts and only opted to pray for the country.

Simi's message is timely, as it serves as a reminder that insults based on age or financial status are not creative or intelligent. Rather, there are better and more creative ways to address issues and put people in their place. It also highlights the need for leaders and institutions to prioritize the needs of the people, such as repairing schools and hospitals, rather than engaging in corrupt practices during elections.
