Famous Nigerian stand-up comedian, Seyi Law, has expressed his discontent at a threat made against his daughter's life due to his political affiliation. During the 2023 Nigerian presidential campaign, Seyi Law publicly expressed his support for the ruling party's candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and since then, his life has never been the same. He has been subjected to constant abuse and threats on social media.
Recently, Seyi Law's wife received a direct message on social media from a troll threatening the life of their daughter. The troll wrote, "Tell your husband, UK no go contain una. This your daughter must die."
Addressing the threat, Seyi Law emphasized the need to involve the necessary authorities to find and bring the person behind the account to justice. He also expressed gratitude to those who have reached out to him and started working towards finding the culprit.
In response to those who may be mocking him for the situation, Seyi Law chose to ignore them and stated that he hopes he won't be accused of intimidation or oppression when the person behind the threat is found. He concluded by thanking his supporters and asking for God's blessings.
