Bad Boy Timz, the fast-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter, recently opened up about a terrifying incident from his childhood in which he was shot in the eye by unknown attackers. During an interview with British-Nigerian media personality, Shopsydoo, the artist, whose real name is Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, shared the harrowing details of the incident. Recounting the traumatic experience, Bad Boy Timz revealed that the attack took place when he was just nine years old in Mushin, a neighborhood in Lagos, Nigeria.
He explained that his family's car was ambushed by gunmen who began shooting indiscriminately, and unfortunately, one of the bullets struck his eye, causing a tragic injury. The artist emphasized that it was not a robbery but an assassination attempt. Bad Boy Timz, his mother, father, and immediate elder brother were all in the car when the assailants overtook them and opened fire. His father managed to evade the bullet aimed at him, but it tragically hit the young artist's eye instead. Shockingly, the culprits behind the attack were never apprehended, leaving the artist and his family without closure or justice for the traumatic incident. Despite the challenges he has faced, Bad Boy Timz remains determined to overcome the effects of the incident. He disclosed that he is planning to undergo another surgery on his eye. The artist's courage in sharing his story serves as an inspiration to others, highlighting the resilience and strength he possesses.
