A rising Afrotrap artist, Independent Jorgi, has stirred controversy by openly criticizing prominent female artists, including Tems, Teni, and Tiwa Savage.
Jorgi asserted that these influential figures displayed no inclination to support and collaborate with emerging female talent in the industry.
The Afro-trap rising star didn't mince words while pointing fingers at these well-known musicians, accusing them of adopting a self-centered approach to their careers.
Jorgi highlighted their alleged failure to seize opportunities to work with up-and-coming female musicians, which, according to her, would have enriched the overall development and diversity of Nigerian music.
Jorgi claimed that these female artists appear to be more concerned with their success than actively nurturing emerging talent, in contrast to their male colleagues.
She vehemently maintained that genuine success in the field should be determined not only by one’s accomplishments but also by one’s capacity to encourage and assist the next generation of artists.
