Actress Yetunde Bakare claims most Nigerian men don't consider single mothers as suitable wives

According to the Abeokuta-born actress, a vast majority of Nigerian men do not consider single mothers as potential wives, despite their hardworking and responsible nature. In her post, Bakare stated that "DEEP DOWN 95% OF NIGERIAN MEN WILL NEVER SEE A SINGLE MOTHER AS A WIFE MATERIAL/MARRY A SINGLE MOTHER EVEN IF SHE’S VERY HARDWORKING/RESPONSIBLE DESPITE CLAIMING TO BE EXPOSED, FORMING WE KNOW BETTER AND CONSTANTLY TALKING ABOUT HOW BEING A SINGLE MOTHER IS NOT A DISEASE/CRIME…” She further added that most men who claim to be woke and in favor of single mothers would still never marry one.

Bakare believes that sacrificing genuine love for financial security would be healthier for everyone in the long run.
